Bro SEKYERE MENSAH

Bro. Sekyere Mensah was born on November 17, 1977 at Kumasi to the late Nana Owusu Asenso Mensah of Bekwai Domanase and Madam Comfort Opoku A.K.A (Akua Nyarko Obaasem) also from Akwaboa in Atwima-Nwabiagya, Ashanti, Ghana. Before his elevation to the diocesan Lay movement Chairmanship, Bro. Sekyere has served in various capacities of the Methodist Church Ghana, as Society Steward,Class Leader, Leaders’ Meeting Secretary, Sunday School Superintendent, Atlanta, Circuit Steward, Atlanta, anda Lay preacher in the Atlanta Circuit.

He also served as an assistant Secretary and a Secretary to the diocesan Lay

Movement Council (2010-2016). Bro. Sekyere served in several diocesan committees and had made his contribution towards the development of the North America mission Diocese.

Bro. Sekyere has his early education at Bantama Methodist Primary. Until 1983 when the prevailing economic downturn in Ghana affected his parents to relocate to Ayomso in Ahafo Region. Bro. Sekyere won his elderly brother’s admiration with his affability. His Brother, Mr. Osei Mensah Aborampah (Nicholas), a teacher, recommended that he continue his education at New Tafo-Dichemso M/A JSS, Kumasi. 1990

Until his relocation to Georgia USA, brother Sekyere attended Osei Kyeretwie Secondary School, 1991-1994,Sunyani Polytechnic, 2000 and level 200 undergraduate studies in University of Education Winneba- Kumasi Campus, 2005. In all these places Bro. Sekyere was a staunch GHAMSU member holding several positions. Bro Sekyere is a formal employee of Agricultural Development Bank (Ghana).

Hepossesses the professional Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from University of North Georgia and Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting (BBA) from Clayton State University, Georgia, USA.

Bro. Sekyere Mensah is a professional Banker.
